KOREA INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL JEJU CAMPUS
FACULTY STAFF IPAD PROTOCOL AND LOAN AGREEMENT
The Korea International School Jeju Campus is providing IPAD to faculty staff to assist in the development and delivery of curriculum in the classroom. IPAD are to be used for school-related business, curriculum enhancement, research, communication and other instructional purposes. While the IPAD is in your personal care, the following guidelines must be observed:
Acceptable Use Policy
1.Only one IPAD will be issued to one staff member. Ownership of the IPAD fully rests with KIS Jeju Campus and is only for the use of the employee to whom it is issued.
2.Employee must follow the guidelines stated in this Korea International School Jeju Campus Acceptable Use Policy. The Acceptable Use Policy applies to the use of the IPAD both on and off school grounds.
3.If the employee leaves the campus for more than 30 days, he/she must return the IPAD with all accessories to the IT Team on or before his/her last working day.
4.All employees must return the IPAD with ALL accessories at the end of the current contract. The employee will be held responsible for lost or damaged IPAD and/or accessories. The amount needed to replace or repair lost or damaged IPAD will be withheld from the employee’s final pay.
5.Only legally-licensed software can be installed on the school-issued IPAD after receiving authorization from the IT Team. The IT Team is not responsible for any legal actions due to use of unauthorized software.
6.If any damages occur with the hardware, it must be reported to the IT Team as soon as possible in order to make arrangements for necessary repairs. Faculty staff should not attempt to fix any problems on their own nor contact Apple or any outside vendor for repairs.
7.It is the employee’s responsibility to maintain backup data. In case of technical problems, the IPAD’s hard disk may be erased and/or re-imaged to its original format.
8.It is the employee’s responsibility to keep his/her assigned IPAD and accessories secure and protected at all times. In the event of damage, theft, or loss due to negligence, the employee is responsible for the replacement of the item at his/her own expense.
